Path one: a single-case agreement
When we don't have a contract with an insurer, that insurer can still agree to cover treatment here for one specific person. That's a single-case agreement, and it's a real thing insurers do — not a loophole.
When it tends to work: when there isn't an in-network program that fits your situation nearby, when continuity of care matters — you're stepping down from a program that referred you here — or when a specific clinical need points to this program.
How it goes: you call us, we gather your information, and we approach the insurer on your behalf. They approve or decline.
The honest part: it takes time, it is not guaranteed, and some insurers decline. Anyone who tells you a single-case agreement is a sure thing is selling you something. What we can promise is that we'll try and that we'll tell you the answer straight.
If your plan is Cigna, Oscar, Ambetter, a Blue Cross plan from another state, or anything else not on our list, this is the conversation to have. Call (732) 248-1805.
Path two: self-pay
You can pay for treatment directly. People choose this for two different reasons.
Cost. With a high-deductible plan, the out-of-pocket difference between using insurance and paying directly is sometimes smaller than people assume — occasionally it goes the other way. Worth doing the math before you decide.
Privacy. Some people would rather no claim exist at all. That's a legitimate reason and we don't ask you to justify it.
We don't publish a rate here because what you'd pay depends on the level of care and the length of treatment, and a number without that context would be misleading. Call (732) 248-1805 and we'll give you the actual figure for your situation. No sales pitch, no pressure to decide on the call.
What we won't do
We won't tell you we take your plan when we don't. We won't quote you a coverage number we haven't verified. And we won't start you in treatment without you knowing what it costs.
If we're not the right fit financially, we'll say so — and where we can, we'll point you toward programs that might be.
If cost is the reason you haven't called
Call anyway.
It's the most common reason people put off treatment, and it is very often solvable — through a plan you didn't realize covers this, through Medicaid you may be eligible for, through a single-case agreement, or through an arrangement we work out directly. None of that gets figured out by not calling.
Am I eligible for Medicaid?
We accept most NJ Medicaid plans. If you think you might qualify, that's worth ten minutes of your time.
